Refund policy
We have a 3-day return policy, which means you have 3 days from the date of delivery (per tracking label) of your order to request a return.Â
Before purchasing wigs from The Unit Fairy, we recommend that you properly determine your cap size to ensure a perfect fit. For most accurate results, you will need to have a flat foundation to get the correct cap size. If you need assistance on how to properly measure your head, please do not hesitate to contact us. If the wrong head circumference is purchased, you will be responsible for any reconstruction and/or shipping fees (as applicable).
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.Â
Customers are responsible for return shipping charges. To start a return, you can contact us at contact@theunitfairy.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Order cancellation/changes must be made within 48 hours of purchase. If you must cancel your order, there will be a 15% restocking fee. Additionally, please allow 7 to 10 business days to receive the refund back to your original payment once it has been processed. Please note that all accepted returns should be sent to the following address ONLY after they have been approved:Â

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.Â
If we made a mistake on your order, we will happily accept the hair back as long as it is in its original state if it is notified to us within 3 days of order delivery date. We have the right to decline items if they have been tampered with or sent back past the 3 day grace period.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned or refunded upon purchase. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.Â
You can also wait for our team to receive the returned item and send out a replacement. Please keep in mind that turnaround time of the original item purchased applies only when the item has been received.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 7 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at contact@theunitfairy.com
